The Tamerlane Times is a real “net mag”, where team members are dedicated to their roles, writing articles for our website, conducting interviews that will be published as articles, taking photos for our community and journalists, and creating videos for our upcoming YouTube channel.
We are hiring both Non-Rpers and Rpers for this role.
If hired, and you are an RPer, you may use this package in conjunction with your main class and skills you have already selected, or if hired, this can be your sole profession. It’s your game, play it your way.
These jobs are non-paying, but you would have a byline and be able to showcase your work in your portfolio.
People who are hired for the Tamerlane Times are required to write an article, do video and photos at a minimum once a month.
Stories that will be considered are:
- Objective with a rational voice.
- Written in third person.
- About current events going on around the Tamerspace, and other Spaces in our Universe. You may determine which event you would like to write about. These events can be special events, such as our Dark Alice Annual event, or a story arc event.
- Articles may not be written to slander other people, groups, or about real-world politics. TamerlaneRP politics is okay, as long as it is objective.
- Interviews with people, members of our group, or about an organization we support, such as HFOT’s interview with Frets Nirvana, as an example.
- Locations that are interesting on Second Life, Events in Second Life such as Fantasy Faire, Hair Faire, RFL, etc.
- LOTRO Locations and events, tips and tricks.
- Articles about our “Educational Boards” set up in the square.
