Renters will receive a copy of any changes made, which will be contained on this website.

We will send our merchants a copy of the new notecard.

Section 1. Rentals Available

Nevermore Residental

  1. Loon Island aka Neverless which is a combat free zone as it is a Music Venue owned by Zachariah Loon and Star Casini.
  2. . Revisiting Residential Rentals

Nevermore Commercial

  1. Small Brick Shops, 100 prims for L$100 per week.
  2. Large Brick Shops, 400 prims for L$400 per week.

Section 2. Fees and Payments

Rental Fees are due at the time of purchase and whenever your rent expires. To reserve your plot, buy it for the set price if applicable. Please immediately pay the rental box next to your plot. If you have questions or cannot find your box, please contact a staff member. If the box is not paid within 30 min, or you have not contacted us with a question regarding how to pay rent, we will reclaim the land WITHOUT REFUND.

You may pay up to 20 weeks in advance or more if arranged with a staff member. Rental fees are non-refundable. However, they can be applied to a different rental parcel if you wish to move. You have a 2-day grace period for late payments, after which your land may be reclaimed with no refund. If you are having difficulty paying, we will work with you and may grant a one-time extension at our discretion.

TAMERLANE OWNER AND STAFF ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OBJECTS IN THE EVENT OF A RETURN FOR NON PAYMENT.

Section 3. Rental Rules

Rules for all Renters

  1. You should join the Kingdom of Tamerlane Group when it is offered to you. You will be notified of covenant changes, and rules being amended. If you are not in the group because you have declined the invite, ignorance is still not bliss. You are not exempt from the rules! As a shop owner, you will not be able to drop your products unless you are in the group.
  2. Scripted objects are permitted, but if an object is causing serious lag, you must remove it upon request. Temp rezzers are allowed only in limited cases and must be approved by Bri McMahon.
  3. Scripts that take up excessive sim memory (KB) will need to be picked up when not in use or turned off. These items produce lag and make it hard for anyone to enjoy the sim.
  4. Furniture, dvd players, and all script heavy items must be either turned off or picked up when not in use, or you are offline for an extended period of time. You can easily replace an item you pick up by rezzing it to last position. Violations will result in a warning, and the item returned to you. We are NOT responsible for items lost because you broke the rules and we had to return it to you. --Added August 13, 2020
  5. Please turn off moving objects such as pets, and other collision causing items when you leave your parcel. Pick them up if you are going to be gone more than a few days. Collisions cause sim lag and do take up spare time as much as heavy scripts do. Please turn your furniture phantom to avoid collissions when an avatar sits on it. If you have items such as a garden light embedded into a tree, turn them both phantom in order to reduce collision costs to the sim. Violations will result in a warning, and the item returned to you. We are NOT responsible for items lost because you broke the rules and we had to return it to you. --Added August 13, 2020

After the first warning, the offending objects will be returned to you. If this happens, Tamerlane, it's owner or staff are not liable for the loss of the object.

Residential Specific Rules

  1. You MUST leave *Allow Public Access* checked in your land settings at all times. Ban lines make the sim look ugly. You MAY use eject-only security orbs at all times if you wish. You MUST be mindful of your parcel edges, so do not block the areas of the commons with your security orb.
  2. You must white list all estate managers and Owner:

  1. Ensure "Restrict Spatialized Sound to This Parcel" in Firestorm "Restrict Gesture, and Objects sounds to this parcel" is checked so your TV, fountains, etc. are not audible outside your land. Also, toggle on "Restrict Voice to this parcel." You can find these settings in the About Land - Sound tab. Optionally, on the About Land - Options tag, you can toggle OFF "Avatars on other parcels can see and chat with avatars on this parcel."
  2. Land may NOT be subdivided or sub-letted without permission from Bri McMahon.
  3. Land cannot be resold. If you no longer want your parcel, you must declare on your rental box that you will not renew. You only paid 1L to pick up your parcel; you aren't losing anything.

Shop Specific Rules

  1. We encourage originality here at the Kingdom of Tamerlane. Your products do not have to be in theme.
  2. Please respect your neighbors and potential customers by not putting unauthorized objects outside your store. We encourage you to place your own lucky chairs, midnight mania, etc, inside your shop. Promote your business!
  3. Things you are allowed to put outside your shop are as follows:Online indicator and flowers and garden items.  Dress your shop up if you like to draw customers in using those items listed. *Note: These items will count towards your prim limit.*
  1. Please respect the prim limit. If you exceed your prim limit, your item will be returned to you by the landlord. Tamerlane's owner and staff are not responsible if your item gets lost after being returned for violations of the prim limit. Repeated violations will cancel the rental agreement with no refund of monies paid.
  2. Please turn shouting objects off. They don't need to disrupt the sim, your neighbors, or role-play!
  3. Please be conservative with how many vendors or boxes you have in your shop. The more images you display, the more lag on the sim (Images Time).  Please consider using a reputable vending system, such as Casper Vend.

Rental Incentives:

Our current incentives are:

  1. Rent four weeks at once and receive the 5th week free.
  2. Recommend our shop rentals to someone who tells us you recommended them, and they rent a shop and stay for a minimum of 4 weeks, you will get a free week of rent.
  3. Holiday Bonuses - Holidays the owner of Tamerlane Estates celebrates, U.S. Holidays, and Pagan holidays such as Yule instead of Christmas.
  4. Take out your own classified for your shop and put a direct teleport and information about your shop in your picks.
  5. Use our facilities for your events for free, with reasonable notice for large events such as weddings. Events are not to cross with Tamerlane-sponsored events.
