Hi, Tamerlane Family! Here is a summary of what has been happening around our home.

• The ground of Nevermore is almost finished. I have a few finishing touches regarding information and decor, but the ground is ready for use.
• The Amontillado layout is in progress and coming together nicely, if I say so myself.
• Brownstone home rentals are now available on Nevermore, providing our community members a cozy and welcoming space.
• Additionally, RP Businesses are available, with some already up and running, offering exciting opportunities for engagement, interaction, and potential RP employment.

• Due to RL obligations, the Pathfinder Game, normally scheduled for May 4, 2024, has been moved to May 11, 2024.
• Due to RL obligations, our Cinco de Mayo event is canceled this year.
• Monday LOTRO for May 6, 2024, is canceled due to RL obligations and Homes For Our Troops monthly benefit at the USMV in SL being held that evening. Sabryne, Suta, and Andy J will be taking over HFOTs hosting, so a big thank you to them.
• Wednesday LOTRO for May 8, 2024, will be Briless due to those pesky RL obligations. The event can continue on as long as someone else can step up and run it in her absence.
• Keep an eye on our calendar for other events for the month. The normal ones are going ahead as planned.

1. 1. The testing of “Be You” and “My Story” systems in Second Life. Use of these systems will not be manadatory to play at Tamerlane.

1. 1. Planned events, the new club, and hiring DJs and Hosts in SL.

1. 1. Add in the Outer Plans of the Tamerlane Universe Sphere in SL

1. 1. Add the bowling alley on Nevermore and add to our “Fun Things To Do at Tamerlane Besides Role Play” in SL.We will have to make a new “floor” of the Underdark to host it. Please give us a little time to construct it as I want to get other things finished first. Priorities!

1. 1. Finish adding the world build into World Anvil; this includes the ability to make your Discord and SL Character Sheets if you would like to have one. You can link your World Anvil character sheet to your Character listing in our Discord Forum.

1. 1. Discord Server tidy-up for the quarter, To be completed by May 31. — A review of unused channels that are not marked private (such as RP channels) or Tamerlane support channels.If there is a channel you enjoy but haven’t used in a while, start a conversation so we know you still want to keep it.

Additionally, you can see or hide channels by going to “Browse Channels” and getting the lists of what channels we have. You can hide or show by category or channel by toggling the check marks on or off.

1. Book Club to coincide with our Book Club current forum, and a chat channel for those who want to discuss the books we are reading, participate in challenges, and read books together.

   The book club will also be done in SL,as we have members who don't use Discord. We have two venues to host it at: Sab’s Library above her bakery and the book store above the Perkazon tea room and Cafe.

2. A writer's channel to chat about writing and bounce ideas off each other. This channel will be private for those who want to participate.

For those of you who do not use Discord, here are the poll questions.

In closing, I know change is hard, and over the past 17 years in Second Life and 25 years of our MUSH, we have done it many times as storylines, and the platforms as a whole evolve.

This is simply another of those times. We always come out having more fun then we did the time before.
